According to preliminary information from the police, on August 11 at 15:36 (14:36 ​​Moscow time) a gas cylinder exploded in a private house in the village of Ivanovka, Ulyanovsk District, Ulyanovsk Region, as a result of which the building collapsed.

"Three people were injured: a woman born in 1999, men born in 1971 and 1951," the department said.

All the circumstances of the incident are being investigated.

In July, it was reported that a gas explosion in a house in the town of Baksan in Kabardino-Balkaria injured four people, including two children.
