After eight months without performing live, the group Taburete performed in Marbella, at the Starlite festival, this weekend. Despite this, their return to the stage did not raise the headlines they expected. On the contrary, the singer Willy Bárcenas (31) and his companions unleashed hundreds of criticisms and not precisely for their musical quality, but for - supposedly - 'encouraging' their audience not to use masks. However, and after receiving numerous comments from other artists, the leader of the band has decided to speak loud and clear and ensure that he would never endanger his audience . During the morning of this Saturday, various videos of Stool began to haunt the web. In some it was possible to see that part of the Starlite audience did not wear a mask and in others, as the singer said the phrase "not a fucking mask" , while singing his hit song 'Sirens'. Two situations that were highly outrageous for various tweeters and even for other musicians, such as Ricky Merino, Cepeda, Omar Montes or Lola Indigo , who criticized the group during a presentation in Castellón. On the other hand, other Spanish personalities - alien to the world of music - also wanted to comment on the subject. Even so, several detractors of Stool and even organizations such as FACUA have asked the Junta de Andalucía to investigate the group's concert in Starlite, due to the little use of the mask and the alleged lack of social distance. "If the irregularities are confirmed, we hope that the corresponding sanctioning file will be initiated, as well as inspection work will be carried out in the next events that take place in the festival," the association told Europa Press on August 10.
