The Director of the Medical and Therapeutic Services Department at the Ministry of Health, Dr. Nour Al-Muhairi, confirmed to "Emirates Today" that the Al-Qareen Health Center in Sharjah has been designated to receive volunteers for the experimental study of the Covid 19 vaccine, pointing out that this experiment supports scientific research in the country and volunteering and humanity in the Emirates, where the experimental study of the vaccine was launched. "Covid 19", indicating that the center operates throughout the week from 8 am to 8 pm.

She emphasized that the center has received more than 500 volunteers since its opening last weekend, pointing out that the numbers are increasing every day, and the center in Sharjah seeks to achieve the goal of the Ministry of Health and Community Protection to attract the numbers of volunteers required for the success of clinical trials in the UAE, calling on all groups of society To volunteer in experiments to combat "Corona".

She indicated that the center plays a major role in facilitating the procedures for registering volunteers and conducting the necessary checks for them, as the volunteer goes through several stages, starting with registration, then nursing, consulting a doctor, drawing blood, and then taking a Covid 19 swab and vaccination, and in the end the volunteer is subject to a 30-minute period of medical observation and giving him the advice to be followed After going home.

"Emirates Today" monitored the turnout of youth groups, especially citizens, to volunteer for clinical trials at the Al-Qurayen Center, noting that what prompted them to volunteer is the national duty and their humanitarian role to contribute to ensuring the success of these experiments.

They emphasized that the volunteer journey is not long, and the center and the medical and administrative team provided them with all the necessary facilities to ensure the saving of time and effort on them, pointing to the good reception and the treatment of the concerned teams inside the center with them.

And they indicated that they passed during the third clinical trial of the Corona virus at the Al-Qareen Health Center in Sharjah, through several stages, which they described as easy and simple, pointing to the vaccine that does not hurt and did not show symptoms during the observation period that they underwent, which lasted about half an hour.

It should be noted that the Ministry of Health and Prevention announced last week that the Health Clues Center was fully prepared to facilitate the success of the third phase of the tests, noting that this step came as a result of the desire of thousands of volunteers from most nationalities to participate in clinical trials, which reflects confidence in the UAE health system.
