"God protect Lebanon," repeated the resigned Lebanese Prime Minister Hassan Diab, announcing his resignation six days after the Beirut port bombing, which left more than 160 people dead, thousands injured and massive destruction.

Diab - who arrived in his post after the November 17 protests that prompted the resignation of Saad Hariri's government - violently attacked in his speech what he described as a "system of corruption" and considered it "greater than the state", and said that "the state is bound by the system and cannot confront or get rid of it." An example of corruption exploded in the port of Beirut. "

President Diab announces the resignation of the government: We take a step back, to stand with the people, in order to wage the battle of change with them. We want to open the door to a national salvation that the Lebanese participate in making

As usual in Lebanon, and with every security or political event, the street is divided between supporters and opponents, and this is what happened in the cyberspace, as Diab's resignation sparked a wide interaction between those who considered him a hero and those who described his resignation as a late one.

Activists launched a number of hashtags, the most prominent of which were: # Hassan_Diab, who was the leader of the trend, the resignation of the Lebanese government, and "# People_With_Yahsan".

The hashtags carry differing opinions and different positions on the resignation of the government, as well as from the person of Diab himself. Some of the tweeters considered that the current Lebanese government is corrupt and should be tried, while others defended it and considered it a scapegoat.

Tweeters evoked Hassan Diab's positions, between libel and praise, and others questioned the future of Lebanon in the coming months.

Hassan Diab, do you and Phil,
say who are they? who are they ?
who are they ?

The resignation of Hassan Diab's government is not an achievement. Basically, it is shameful for Lebanon to have a failed prime minister and failed ministers.
Diab's resignation does not mean that he has become a revolt, nor does it mean that his government will not bear responsibility for the Beirut earthquake, it and all those who are behind the appointment of Diab and his ministers, and the entire ruling system.

# Hassan_Diab failed, but Saad Hariri failed a million times.
Hassan Diab's government is not productive and has not achieved a single achievement, but all national unity governments are governments of plunder, theft, brokers, settlements and deals.
Beware of believing that the solution is with the departure of one government and the coming of another. What is required is a new system in which there is no place for sects and their corrupt.

Hassan Diab has just said in a statement of the resignation of his government: Those who are ashamed have died!

The height of ridicule, disavowal and denial, a curse on those who allowed you and the idiots who preceded you to stand on this national podium.

The resignation of the non-event government in a catastrophic event that claimed thousands of victims, and in light of the repression that the failed and criminal power persists in exercising it.
Although we have been killed several times, we will resist until the establishment of an actual state, that is, a civil state.

Listen to Hassan Diab's resignation and address him, saying: Your going is pleasant, but the regret is that you did not take the "godfather" of the system with you.

- Ghassan Charbel (@GhasanCharbel) August 10, 2020

Really, what follows are ashamed ... they died ...!
Even you and Phil, O State of the outgoing President # Hassan_Diab, did not dare to name the corrupt, criminals and murderers ...?
This is a crime in itself ... If you want to take a step back to be with the people, you have to tell them the truth ... (And for the knowledge people have gone a long way before you, which will not follow them) # Government resignation

- Samar Abou Khalil (@samarabukhalil) August 10, 2020

The achievement is not the resignation of the government. The government and its head is a desert fantasy. The feat is not the resignation of MPs. Representatives Marions in the hands of the leaders.
Achievement begins in Baabda: let the president of the republic fall to remove the main cover from Hezbollah, and the entire system of corruption and criminality collapses!

The Lebanese government must be referred to the judiciary. Their resignation is nothing but an escape from the confrontation. # Lebanon__ Lebanon rises up # The resignation of the Lebanese government

On the other hand, there was a defense of the government and its president, describing him as the "humane president, who is far from corruption and has a clean hand."
