China News Service, Beijing, August 10 (Reporter Chen Su) The reporter learned from the China Meteorological Administration on the 10th that the rainfall in the south has been significantly weakened recently, and the rainfall in the north "takes over" the south, and strong convective weather in North China and Northeast China will frequently occur.

The Central Meteorological Observatory predicts that starting from August 10, rainfall in Jianghuai, Jiangnan and other places will be significantly weakened. In the next week, there will be many rainfalls in most northern areas, and more than ten provinces will have obvious rainfall processes. Strong convective weather occurs frequently in North China and Northeast China, with heavy to heavy rain in the local area, accompanied by thunderstorms and winds. The Central Meteorological Observatory continued to issue blue warnings for severe convective weather on the morning of the 10th.

A new round of heavy rainfall will affect the Sichuan Basin and most of the north from west to east. It is expected that from August 11th to August 13th, there will be a heavy rainfall process in the Sichuan Basin, eastern Northwest China, North China, Northeast China, Huanghuai and other places. There will be heavy rains in some areas and heavy rains locally.

Meteorological experts reminded that the above areas are accompanied by strong convective weather such as short-term heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, gales or hail. Strong convective weather is prominent in North China and Northeast China. The public should pay attention to weather warning when going out and try to avoid going out during periods of strong convection.

In terms of temperature, due to the overall low temperature in the north due to rainfall this week, the Sichuan Basin and Jiangnan area will be hot again, and high-temperature weather will occur intensively. In the next three days, there will be high temperature weather above 35℃ in Jiangnan, central and northern southern China, Sichuan Basin, Jianghuai, southern North China, western Inner Mongolia, and southern Xinjiang basin. The highest temperature in some areas can reach 37℃~39℃. It can reach above 40℃. "Sauna days" may appear in Chongqing, Fuzhou, Wuhan, Hefei and Nanjing. (Finish)
