Fifteen days after the shocking assault of a young girl was posted on social media, the Saint-Etienne police are looking for witnesses who can help advance the investigation. The images, enormously shared, showed a teenage girl receiving several blows and enduring humiliating acts, partially naked, by another young woman, in a courtyard of an apartment building in Saint-Etienne (Loire).
A judicial investigation has been opened. The police managed to identify the 14-year-old victim as well as the perpetrator, also a minor. Both knew each other, reports Le Progrès .
Other accomplices?
Investigators also found two young men suspected of complicity. But other people witnessed the scene and they have not yet made themselves known. The same goes for the person who posted the video on Instagram and Snapchat. The investigating judge is actively looking for them. And their request to appear at the police station in order to be heard, indicates the daily.
