Adam Grinde was stabbed in central Uppsala one night in mid-May. After three days in hospital, he died.

Since then, a man in his 20s has been in custody on suspicion of murder. A knife was found in his home, which was investigated as the suspected murder weapon.

It is now clear that the knife cannot be linked to the incident. But the prosecutor still believes that the evidence is valid for prosecution.

- We have strong evidence, says prosecutor Kristoffer Sahlin.

What kind of evidence?

- Witness information, the suspect's own information, and all the technical investigation in the case.

Prosecution is expected to be brought early next week.
