The website of the mayor's office of the French capital indicates that this step is associated with a worsening situation with the spread of coronavirus.

"The prefecture of police together with the mayor's office signed an order, according to which the wearing of masks in places of large crowds in the open air has become mandatory from 08:00 (09:00 Moscow time) on August 10," the statement says.

It is clarified that the mask regime applies to all people over 11 years old. The fine for not wearing a mask is € 135.

Earlier it was reported that it became mandatory for visitors to shops in England to wear masks that cover their mouth and nose.
