They noted that more than 50 civilians were injured.

“There are no dead! Please note that the information disseminated in some Internet publications is a complete fake, ”the ministry said in a statement.

On August 9, presidential elections were held in Belarus. After the closure of the polling stations, riots broke out in the country.

As stated in the human rights center Viasna, at least 213 people were detained during the protests in the country. 

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus announced that there were no people killed as a result of the actions in Minsk.
