The National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority has warned community members against disregarding measures to prevent the emerging corona virus (Covid 19), during the current period, in order to limit its spread, stressing that the virus has not ended yet, directing seven strategic messages to society.
This came within the expanded awareness messages, launched by the authority, recently, under the slogan: «We commit ourselves to victory», aimed at encouraging members of society to adhere to preventive measures, and to assume self-responsibility with a gradual return to normal life.
The authority stated that the campaign aims to deliver seven strategic messages to community members: The first is commitment that leads to early recovery, and emphasizing through this message that recklessness leads to proliferation, and commitment leads to receding, and the role of society in commitment and adherence to all decisions and procedures is the first step in recovery.
The second message is to preserve the gains and achievements, explaining through it that the UAE has made many efforts with high capabilities and competencies to confront the "Covid-19" virus, and has made many achievements to contain it, and the preservation of these achievements and gains depends on the extent of the public's interaction and commitment. Achievements and overcoming the pandemic.
And the third is societal integration, by emphasizing that the solidarity and national concern of all members of society with the government's efforts to confront "Covid 19", and bypass this stage and move to the return of normal life, as it was one of the basic ingredients for efficient and rapid victory, as the secret of the success of countries and governments is the culture of And awareness of societies. This will only be done through serious and responsible compliance with the procedures.
And the fourth message is to promote values in society, by working to promote the inherent values in society and its characteristics such as the culture and awareness of the people of the UAE, as a people of solidarity who makes successes with the government, a people who loves victories and does not accept inaction. As well as strengthening national cohesion and the values of solidarity and tolerance.

It is worth noting that this campaign coincides with the speech of the Minister of Health and Community Protection, Abdul Rahman Al Owais, during the media briefing held by the UAE government, during which he said: “We have observed, during the past days, an increase in the number of recorded cases of (Covid-19) among citizens by 30%, due to continuing In social visits and gatherings without following preventive and precautionary measures, ”adding that“ we must not let our social ties, which are the source of our strength and cohesion, become a source of danger threatening our lives and the lives of those we love. ”

The Minister of Health and Community Protection, Abdul Rahman Al-Owais, affirmed that “care should be taken to protect our families, and we realize that family visits without following preventive and precautionary measures may pose a great danger to them, especially senior citizens and those with chronic diseases,” adding that “recent positive indicators do not mean that the challenge It is over, and by virtue of our experience with this disease and our knowledge of the experiences of other countries, that is, laxity in the procedures, even if it is a small percentage, has big consequences that are difficult to contain.
