Earlier, the presidential elections in Belarus were declared valid after more than half of the registered voters took part in the voting.

The incumbent President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko assessed his chances of re-election following the election of the head of state.

Also, Andrei Dmitriev, Anna Kanopatskaya, Svetlana Tikhanovskaya and Sergei Cherechen are registered as presidential candidates.
