“Flight FV 5855 is operated from Moscow to Antalya on a Boeing 747 aircraft. The airline is the world leader in the operation of aircraft of this type,” TASS quotes the press secretary of Rossiya Airlines, Sergei Starikov.
He noted that tickets for all 510 economy class seats and 12 business class seats were sold for the flight.
Earlier, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova said that the Russian operational headquarters for combating COVID-19 is working on expanding the list of countries to restore international air traffic.
Since August 1, Russia has resumed flights with the UK, Turkey and Tanzania.
