There are no big changes, with only six starts and six finishes. Among the departures, there are those of three ministers cited in the report of the parliamentary commission of inquiry on the management of the Aziz decade, named after the former Mauritanian president who led the country between 2008 and 2019. The shadow of this report which pinpoints the management of the former Mauritanian president will have finally hovered over the ministerial reshuffle just carried out by the Mauritanian head of state Mohamed Ould Ghazouani.

The sovereign ministries, Foreign Affairs, the Interior and National Defense have not changed holders. Out of a team of 22 members, there were only six departures, including the three ministers cited in the parliamentary inquiry report. The case of these ministers, and that of the other personalities mentioned in the report, were mentioned Sunday, August 9 by the new minister, secretary of the presidency.

Adama Sonko, before reading the press release announcing the composition of the government, digressed to say that President Ghazouani has pledged never to interfere in judicial affairs so as not to call into question the separation of powers . A message to those affected by the cases of misappropriation of public property pointed out by the Parliament's investigation.
