The videoconference of donors in support of Lebanon started at 2 p.m. This initiative, organized by the UN and France, should mark the beginning of an "emergency and hope for the future" of the country, the Elysee said on Saturday.
The representatives of the European Union, the United States, the United Kingdom, China, Russia, Jordan, Egypt must notably participate. Israel is "not in the round table", according to Emmanuel Macron the country has expressed its willingness to help the Lebanese.
