An emotional attachment behind a woman being kidnapped
The Dubai Criminal Court has begun the trial of five Asians, who participated in the kidnapping of a 24-year-old woman, on the orders of a sixth defendant who fled, who was emotionally attached to the victim, and wanted to force her to live with him.
And the victim stated in the Public Prosecution's investigations that she was walking in the Ras Al-Khor area, and she was surprised by the fugitive accused and two people with him surrounding her and pulling her forcefully to a taxi driven by another accused, and they sat her in the middle between the two accused, and the fugitive accused put his hand on her mouth so that she would not make a sound or seek help from anyone.
She added that the fugitive accused planned this crime with the others, because he wanted to force her to live with him, as they had a love story before she knew that he was married and separated from him, noting that she dropped her handbag and phone when she was kidnapped.
A Dubai police witness said that a report was received from an eyewitness about the occurrence of a crime of kidnapping a woman on a public road under the jurisdiction of the Rashidiya Police Station.
