On August 9, more than 5.7 thousand polling stations opened in Belarus as part of the main voting day in the presidential elections in the country.

The turnout for early voting in the presidential elections was 41.7%.

The sites will be open from 08:00 to 20:00. Five people are registered as candidates: Andrey Dmitriev, Anna Kanopatskaya, Alexander Lukashenko, Svetlana Tikhanovskaya, Sergey Cherechen.
