In a normal year, summer is usually a period of poorer access to blood. This is usually because those who donate blood go on holiday, and do not think about leaving before they go.
But this year it looks different, at least in Örebro.
- It has gone really well, says Annica Eriksson, operations manager for clinical immunology and transfusion medicine.
Despite a good summer, they are constantly in need of new blood donors.
