More than 2,000 new confirmed cases of new crown in Illinois, U.S. 1165 new confirmed cases in Wisconsin

  On August 8, local time, the health department of Illinois in the United States reported more than 2,000 new confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia for the second consecutive day.

  The 2,190 new cases reported that day was the highest number of new cases in a single day since May 24. According to data from the Illinois Department of Health, there are currently 192,698 confirmed cases in the state, and the cumulative death toll is 7,631.

  On August 8, local time, the Health Department of Wisconsin, the United States, reported that the state had a record number of new confirmed cases of new crowns in a single day, reaching 1,165.

  Wisconsin's previous record of newly confirmed cases in a single day was 1,117 reported on July 21. The state health department said that a total of 59,933 cases have been confirmed in the state and the cumulative death toll is 996.
