China News Service, August 9th. From the 9th to the 10th, there were heavy rains and local heavy rains in parts of Jianghuai, southern Jianghan and northern Jiangnan. Due to the reduction in the range and intensity of heavy precipitation, the Central Meteorological Observatory lifted the blue rainstorm warning at 06:00 on August 9.

  In addition, there have been showers or thunderstorms in North China, the western part of Northeast China, western and southern Yunnan, and heavy rain or heavy rain in some areas. The above areas are accompanied by strong convective weather such as short-term heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, gales or hail.

Hot weather in Jiangnan and South China

  In the next three days, there will be high-temperature weather above 35°C in Jiangnan, eastern South China, western Inner Mongolia, Sichuan Basin, and southern Xinjiang Basin. The highest temperature in some areas can reach 37-39°C, and the local area can reach above 40°C.

Heavy rainfall in the eastern part of Northwest China and North China

  From the 11th to the 13th, there will be a heavy rainfall process in the eastern part of Northwest China, North China, Northeast China, Huanghuai and Sichuan Basin. There will be heavy rains in some areas, and heavy rains locally. The above areas are accompanied by strong convective weather such as short-term heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, gales or hail.

Specific forecast for the next three days

  From 08:00 on August 9th to 08:00 on August 10th, there were moderate to heavy rains in parts of northeastern Inner Mongolia, central and western Heilongjiang, eastern Jilin, most of Jianghuai, eastern Jianghan, northern Jiangnan, southern Southwestern, and southeastern Tibet. Among them, there were local heavy rains or heavy rains (100-120 mm) in central Jiangsu, southern Anhui, eastern Hubei, and western Hunan. There are 4 to 5 winds in central Inner Mongolia, Liaodong Peninsula, northern Shaanxi, Shandong Peninsula, and northern Zhejiang (see Figure 1).

  From 08:00 on August 10th to 08:00 on August 11, northeastern Inner Mongolia, central and western Northeast China, eastern North China, eastern Jianghuai, eastern Jianghan, northern Hunan, central Northwest China, northern Sichuan plateau, southeastern Guizhou, north Guangxi, and western Yunnan There were moderate to heavy rains and local heavy rains (50 to 80 mm) in parts of the south, central and eastern Tibet, and most of the island of Taiwan. There are 4 to 5 winds in central Inner Mongolia and other places (see Figure 2).

  From 08:00 on August 11th to 08:00 on the 12th, northeast and west of Inner Mongolia, central Heilongjiang, central Jilin, eastern Northwest China, western and central North China, western Huanghuai, western Jianghuai, most of Sichuan, southwest Guizhou, and Guangxi There were moderate to heavy rains in parts of northwestern, western and southern Yunnan, southeastern Tibet, Taiwan Island and other places, including eastern and southern Gansu, central and southern Ningxia, northern Shaanxi, southern Hebei, northern Henan, and northwestern Sichuan Basin. Heavy rains or heavy rains (100-150 mm) occurred in parts of the region (see Figure 3).

Influence and concern

  1. Pay attention to mountain floods, geological disasters, floods in small and medium rivers, and urban and rural waterlogging caused by heavy rainfall in Jiangsu, Anhui and the eastern part of the Sichuan Basin;

  2. Pay attention to strong convective weather in North China and Northeast China and its adverse effects on traffic;

  3. Continuous high temperature weather in Jiangnan, South China and other places.
