08 August 2020First row for Mercedes in the second British Grand Prix. On the Silverstone circuit Valtteri Bottas wins pole position in front of team mate Lewis Hamilton. Charles Leclerc's Ferrari was eighth and Sebastian Vettel's other Red was twelfth.

Third position on the starting grid of the second act of the British GP at Silverstone for Nico Hulkenberg's Racing Point ahead of Max Verstappen's Red Bull. Fifth place for Daniel Ricciardo's Renault which preceded Lance Stroll's Racing Point and Pierre Gasly's Alpha Tauri. Alexander Albon ninth, while the McLaren of Lando Norris closes the top ten and the McLaren of the future Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz is thirteenth. The two Alfa Romeo Races will start from the back of the grid with Antonio Giovinazzi nineteenth and Kimi Raikkonen twentieth.
