Clashes between demonstrators and police in the center of Beirut

According to the agency, the mass anti-government rally turned into riots, police officers use gas to throw masses of people away from the parliament building, and the protesters throw stones in response.

According to Lebanon 24, riot police were sent to the scene of the collision.

Earlier, the Russian ambassador to Beirut, Alexander Zasypkin, said that the likelihood of attempts to interfere in the internal affairs of Lebanon against the background of the catastrophe after the explosion in the city's port is high.
