  According to the draft amendments to the National Flag Law, the national flag and its patterns shall not be used as trademarks, product designs and commercial advertisements; citizens and organizations using national flag patterns on the Internet shall abide by relevant network management regulations and shall not damage the dignity of the national flag; The national flag is displayed and used in a manner that undermines the dignity of the national flag; the national flag shall not be discarded at will; the event organizer shall properly dispose of the various national flags used at the event site after the large-scale mass event ends.

  The draft amendment to the National Emblem Law further clarifies and limits the scope of use of the national emblem and national emblem patterns, stipulating that trademarks, product designs, commercial advertisements, daily necessities and furnishings, etc. shall not be used.

  In addition, the draft amendment to the National Flag Law also stipulates that in the unfortunate event of particularly heavy casualties, severe natural disasters and public health incidents that cause heavy casualties or national public ceremonies, "mast can be lowered nationwide to pay mourning, or in some areas or Mast at half-mast at certain places to mourn."
