At least 214 people died due to the catastrophe of the massive explosion in Beirut, the capital of Lebanon on the 4th of the local time.

An official from the Ministry of Health in Lebanon said, "Of the 154 dead, 25 have not yet been identified," and "more than 60 are still missing," AFP reported.

Earlier, Lebanese Health Minister Hamad Hassan said at least 120 of the 5,000 injured were in critical condition.

Lebanese authorities are arresting and investigating 21 people, including port operators and customs officials, after 2,750 tons of ammonium nitrate stored in a warehouse at the port of Beirut are considered the cause of the accident.

Lebanese President Michelle Aun said, "The cause of the explosion has not yet been determined, but we will not rule out the possibility of external attacks such as rockets."
