It was at lunchtime on March 16 that Sparbanken in Sölvesborg was robbed by two masked people. According to the verdict, one of the robbers was sitting on a moped outside the premises while the other entered the bank. Armed with a revolver-like weapon, he shouted at a bank employee that he wanted money.

A man who was in the ATM hall, which you pass on the way to the bank, intervened and tried to stop the robber - who nevertheless managed to tear himself free. The robber then kicked the man hard in the back.

Flew with moped

After this, the robber went back to the cash registers and demanded more money from the bank employees. Then he put the money in a bag, left the bank and drove off with his companion on the moped.

A short while later, an alarm was received about a fire in a backyard. It turned out to be a moped that was set on fire in a storage room in the backyard and there a mask, a revolver and a safety vest were found.

The duo must have left the place on a moped or motorcycle of a scooter model. Shortly afterwards, the getaway vehicle was found burning on Rundgatan in Sölvesborg, which is now cordoned off. Photo: Jens Christian
