The Oman News Agency stated that the Sultanate will lift a two-week ban on movement between governorates a day before the scheduled date, in light of the anticipation of a large tropical storm.

Oman imposed a ban on movement between governorates on July 25 to limit the spread of the new Corona virus during the Eid Al-Adha holiday.

The ban was lifted yesterday afternoon, instead of today as scheduled, with the anticipation of the storm reaching the Arabian Sea.

However, the complete closure will remain in effect in the Dhofar Governorate in the south until further notice.
