Jordanians resorted to a new way to vent their anger after the Corona epidemic by throwing axes at targets placed in front of them in a store in the capital, Amman.

The anger rooms they call "Ax rage rooms" in Amman provide Jordanians with creative ways to unload their rage, including destroying televisions and throwing dishes on the wall. As for ax throwing, it is their latest creativity.

"Achieve your weirdest pleasures of smashing things with a baseball bat, throwing dishes on the wall instead of washing them, or destroying office electronics all with your coworkers ... as a one-time team instead of shouting at boring meetings," the store wrote on its website.

Store owner Aladdin Atari said that there is a growing interest in these activities, at a time when people are searching for new ways to entertain with some restrictions.

Atari, the founder of the store, added that there was "a special turnout after the Corona period ... It was a long period of home stone, and after that people loved to play sports or fun things, so this was among them."

"There is complete safety," he said. "The area where axes are played is forbidden to enter, and hands and eyes are protected."

One of the participants, Diaa Al Yahya, said that throwing an ax has become one of his new favorite activities.

Safety rules must be followed, and players must sign a declaration of full responsibility for their participation in the game.

A customer service representative said over the phone that the game cost per person 15 Jordanian dinars ($ 21) to destroy unlimited amounts of things for an hour, which is "more than enough for most people."

In March, the government imposed a two-month curfew in order to limit the spread of the Corona virus.
