Diplomats are trying to find out whether the Russians suffered from an emergency with a plane in India

"The Civil Code of Russia in Chennai is investigating whether there were Russian citizens among the passengers on the flight," - stated in a message on Twitter.

Earlier, an Air India plane, on board which, according to some sources, was 191 people, rolled off the runway in the city of Kozhikode in Kerala.

According to media reports, 14 people died and dozens were injured.
