Regarding the recruits enrolled in the National Service Course, batch 14, who will join the Recruits Training Center in Manama today, the authority warned that the headquarters of the recruits ’gathering will be in Zayed Military Hospital (Al-Batayeh) to conduct a“ Covid-19 ”examination before joining the course, and they will be transported by buses after the procedure Examination to the training center, as for the recruits who will join the other centers, their enrollment will be in the training centers that have been determined for them in advance, and the recruits will be received on the date of enrollment starting at seven in the morning, with the need to bring the original identity card and the assembly form.

Last May, the National and Reserve Service Authority announced the resumption of recovery training courses, after taking all precautionary measures related to the emerging corona virus, to ensure the safety of recruits, and to avoid the transmission of infection, as the youth of the country returned to completing the national service courses, which were temporarily suspended due to the Corona virus. It is worth noting that the General Command of the Armed Forces, represented by the National and Reserve Service Authority, announced last March that all high school graduates for the 2019/2020 academic year will be enrolled in the national service program, regardless of the percentage they obtained in high school.

She explained that students obtaining a score of 90% or higher, who wish to complete their university studies, will join the basic training course that lasts for a period of four months, provided that before the end of the course they are subjected to the (EMS) exam, in coordination with the Ministry of Education, and those who achieve the approved pass rate will be allowed. In this regard, the completion of university studies immediately after graduation from the basic training course, provided that the remainder of the prescribed period (specialized training course, active service, annual recovery training courses) be completed upon completion of his university studies.

As for students who score 90% or higher, who have not succeeded in achieving the required percentage in (EmSAT), they must complete all stages of the program and complete the period prescribed by law, which is 16 months.
