07 August 2020 The first doses of the coronavirus vaccine have arrived at the Spallanzani Institute in Rome, for exclusive experimental use. "Volunteers are being recruited for experimentation - Health Lazio reports - the tests will begin on August 24".

According to the social profile of Salute Lazio, "healthy volunteers of both sexes, aged between 18 and 55 and between 65 and 85 years old, enrolled in the National Health Service, who have not participated in, can participate other clinical trials in the past 12 months that have not contracted covid-19 ".

"The commitment - communicates the Spallanzani Institute - consists of a visit to assess the state of health and, if appropriate, subsequent 8 visits over the course of 7 months. The duration of each visit is approximately 30 minutes. The day of vaccination will be asked to remain under observation for about 4 hours. For the time and commitment required, an indemnity adequate to the current legislation is provided ".

"Here! The first doses of the vaccine completely made in Italy arrived at Spallanzani, ready now for the human experimentation phase. Funded by the Lazio Region with an investment of 5 million together with the Ministry of Research. From August 24th it will be administered to 90 volunteers" .
