Dubai Electricity and Water Authority announced that the number of subscribers to the "My Sustainable Approach" program aimed at the residential sector has exceeded 400,000 since its launch in October 2018, until the end of last July.

These positive results are the result of the authority’s efforts to promote a culture of rational consumption among various sectors, especially the residential sector, and to enable customers to adopt a sustainable lifestyle in an innovative and effective manner. The "My Sustainable Approach" program has proven highly efficient in helping customers follow an integrated rationalization plan, which has enabled them to significantly rationalize their electricity and water consumption, and reduce their carbon footprint.

The program falls under the umbrella of the “Smart Life” initiative aimed at raising the level of awareness among customers, and enabling them to manage their consumption of electricity and water without referring to the authority, in order to improve their experience during interaction with the authority, and reduce the demand for the “consumption verification request - electricity / Water ».
