The reason why the success has continued for the company, Sami Järvinen believes, is that the company has had several long-term projects that have continued despite the corona. But also because they have not had foreign labor like many others in the same industry have.

- The process and construction industries have a lot of foreign labor and they were quarantined. Projects must be pursued anyway and then some customers have hired us who in normal cases may not have done so, explains Sami Järvinen, CEO of Reppu welding and assembly.

Increased sales continue

For ten years, the welding company has increased its turnover and thus hired more and the corona pandemic has not stopped it. During the period, the company hired new employees to expand its operations to several locations in Skåne as well.

- We will increase our sales this year by about ten percent.

Is there any risk that things will go badly for you in the future?

- As I have understood it from our customers, this is not the case right now. But if it takes a long time for the wheels to stop completely, it is clear that investments will also decrease in our industry, says Sami Järvinen.
