For more than a month, the bass echoed in the night from Saturday to Sunday in the forest of La Londe, near Rouen (Seine-Maritime). Every weekend since mid-July, rave parties have been organized in this sector, reports  76actu .

During the night from Saturday to Sunday in early August, the noise was such that it woke up a resident of Saint-Ouen du Tilleul (Eure), 3 km from the forest, which has been suffering from these nuisances for a month. “I had never heard such loud music,” explains the mother. “So we contacted the gendarmerie and the police. "

"Every year there are"

According to local authorities, a dozen agents were dispatched to the site to put an end to the noise at night. Almost 300 people gathered that evening to celebrate. No less than 41 vehicles were also fined for illegal parking.

Unfortunately, the problem is not new to the region. “Every year, there are,” confirms Jean-Paul Loison, deputy mayor of La Londe. But the staff available in the middle of the night on weekends are not sufficient to intervene. "The best would be to anticipate, to be able to know when and where they will settle", for example by organizing rounds, estimates the deputy.
