During the night from Saturday to Sunday in early August, the noise was such that it woke up a resident of Saint-Ouen du Tilleul (Eure), 3 km from the forest, which has been suffering from these nuisances for a month. “I had never heard such loud music,” explains the mother. “So we contacted the gendarmerie and the police. According to local authorities, a dozen agents were dispatched to the site to put an end to the noise at night. Almost 300 people gathered that evening to celebrate. No less than 41 vehicles were also fined for illegal parking.
Unfortunately, the problem is not new to the region. “Every year, there are,” confirms Jean-Paul Loison, deputy mayor of La Londe. But the staff available in the middle of the night on weekends are not sufficient to intervene.
