According to the preliminary version of the investigation, the deputy chief of police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation "Krasnoyarskoye" told his friend about the allegedly available materials against him, confirming his involvement in fraud.
The Investigative Committee added that the suspect for a monetary reward of 2.5 million rubles promised to resolve the issue of not bringing an acquaintance to criminal responsibility.
According to the department, the police officer was detained by FSB operatives after receiving part of the amount - 1.1 million rubles. At the same time, the suspect fully admitted guilt and repented of his deed.
Earlier, suspects in insurance fraud were detained in Moscow.
