A bar-tobacco was completely ransacked using a construction machine on the night of Tuesday to Wednesday in Rouen (Seine-Maritime). The vehicle, probably stolen from a construction site near the establishment, broke through the facade and destroyed the entire interior of the place.

The front of the bar-tobacco was "entirely folded" and the windows shattered under the shock, according to the words of the manager collected by  76actu . The latter was alerted by the alarm of his establishment as well as by the police, around 4 am.

An open investigation

“They struggled and even punctured the tires of my vehicle so that I wouldn't go to my workplace,” says the manager. According to the first observations, goods, cigarettes and a fund of around thirty euros were stolen.

Faced with the extent of the damage, the manager thinks that his bar-tabac will only be able to reopen within "three to four months". He has announced his intention to file a complaint, and a police investigation has already been opened. An expert must observe the damage on site to financially assess the damage.
