  A violent explosion in the Lebanese capital on August 4 has caused more than 100 deaths and about 4000 injuries.

  Foreign Ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin said at a regular press conference of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs today (5th) that China is deeply shocked and saddened by the massive explosion in Lebanon that caused a large number of casualties. We express our deep condolences to the victims and our sincere condolences to the injured and the families of the victims. I wish the injured a speedy recovery. China is willing to properly handle relevant incidents for Lebanon and provide assistance within its capacity.
