In detail, the management of the Islamic Education School in Ras Al-Khaimah assured «Emirates Today» that it has decided to stop the school bus service permanently for the next academic year, in order to ensure the safety and health of students from infection with Corona virus, and pointed out that it will not risk the safety of students in the presence of the virus.
She explained that parents must rely on themselves to deliver their children or rent public vehicles to transport their children at their own risk.
While the director of the American School of Perfection in Sharjah, Fatima Abu Mowais, said that the school is committed to the decision of the Ministry of Education to operate school buses by 30%, and that no additional student will be registered in school buses, and the registered numbers will be sufficient according to the 30% approved by the competent authorities in Country.
She explained that the school apologized to parents for registering their children in the school bus service, and asked them to search for alternatives to deliver their children, including their delivery by their relatives or relying on special transport vehicles to connect them, and pointed out that the increase in the number of school buses to transport students according to the terms of social spacing in buses It will cost the school huge sums of money.
She added that the school will bear part of the 30% employment decision and that students ’families should bear the consequences of the decision and the school’s participation in transporting their students’ children through searching for other means of transportation. She considered that the school will determine the number of buses and students who will be transferred at the beginning of the new school year scheduled at the end of This month, if the school decides to increase the number of buses, it will then decide to add a maximum bus or two buses in order to transport students according to the educational plan that the school is carrying out at the present time, and to serve the interest of the school and students at the same time.

She explained that the school will not add any new buses within its fleet and will suffice with the buses available to it, and that it will register students and transfer them according to priority, and according to remote residential areas, and the social conditions of each student, to ensure the student’s educational interest and the school’s interest in providing its services according to the preventive and precautionary measures.
She indicated that parents should search for other solutions to deliver their children to school, either by connecting them with their parents ’vehicles or contracting transportation vehicles to connect them, ensuring the safety and health of the student in accordance with the preventive measures against the Corona virus.
