In warp, it is important to get as close to the stick as possible. When you throw against other competitors, it is the one who comes closest who gets the points.
Centimeter throwing, however, is individual. Then measure how far the warp is from the stick after each throw. When 36 throws are completed, the result is calculated.
Torbjörn Lawergren's warp was thus a total of 75 centimeters from the stick on 36 throws, the best ever by a senior thrower.
