The holidays of a Breton family have just turned into a tragedy. This Tuesday at the beginning of the afternoon, a 52-year-old Rennais lost his life after being stung in the tongue by a wasp while eating during a hike around Lake Annecy in Haute-Savoie, reports the Dauphiné Released.

His wife quickly called for help but the fifty-something, in cardio-respiratory arrest, could not be resuscitated. After the sting, the physiological reaction would have resulted in immediate swelling of the tongue. The man then allegedly began to suffocate and lost consciousness before his heart stopped.

His wife, his two sons and his daughter-in-law were taken care of by the services of the town hall of Bluffy.
