(Fighting New Coronary Pneumonia) The epidemic is difficult to control, the Nepalese government re-implements the policy of restricted motor vehicles

China News Agency, Kathmandu, August 5 (Reporter Zhang Chenyi) The Nepalese Ministry of Interior issued a notice on the evening of the 5th: in areas where the number of active cases of the new crown exceeds 200, the motor vehicle single and even number restriction policy will be re-implemented from August 6.

According to the notice, if a certain day has a double number in the Nepalese calendar, only a motor vehicle with a double number at the end of the license plate can drive on the street. The number of active cases in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, meets the above conditions, so it will also implement a policy of restricting motor vehicle odd and even numbers from August 6. However, some necessary service vehicles can pass without restrictions.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Nigeria also stipulated that from August 6th, from 21:00 to 5:00 of the next day, all motorized vehicles will not be allowed to go out; personnel at border crossings are strictly prohibited unless they have a permit.

Nepal announced the end of the 120-day nationwide lockdown in late July, but the number of new daily cases in Nepal has not dropped significantly recently, and the Kathmandu Valley has gradually become an area with a high incidence of cases. According to data released by the Ministry of Health and Population of Nigeria on August 5, in the past 24 hours, there have been 381 new cases of new coronary disease nationwide, with a total of 21,390.

It is worth noting that on August 5, Nepal reported a total of 5 deaths from the new crown, which was the day with the largest number of new deaths in a single day after the outbreak.

On August 4, the Prime Minister of Nepal held a forum with health experts and opposition leaders on the prevention and control of the epidemic. At the meeting, experts asked the Prime Minister to consider implementing a new blockade policy.

On August 5, Nepal officially announced that: with immediate effect, ordinary vehicles and people are prohibited from entering the Nepal Federal Government compound. Places where there are more cases of new crowns, such as Pasa, Barra, Salah, and Saputari, have also entered different levels of control. Dhahran City in eastern Nigeria will implement a one-week blockade policy from August 6. (Finish)
