Mushroom-shaped giant white smoke that rises along with the explosion sound swallows up everywhere.

As if a nuclear bomb exploded, a pillar of fire soared and a powerful after-storm stormed the surroundings.

On the evening of the 4th local time, two massive explosions took place in the port of Beirut, the capital of Lebanon.

Due to the enormous explosive power, the surroundings turned into ashes and ruins, and the streets were filled with casualties and building debris.

[Beirut residents: When I heard that there was a fire while fishing, I went home and heard an explosion. Then he got hurt like this. I don't know what's going on]

[Resident of Beirut: The car I was riding was upside down, and the car glass was broken and hurt. My car is here.]

So far, more than 100 people have died and more than 4,000 have been injured, but more casualties are expected.

This is a video of the first explosion.

The accident is believed to have occurred after the explosion of ammonium nitrate, a flammable substance that had accumulated in the warehouse at Port of Beirut.

The Lebanese government says nearly 3,000 tonnes of ammonium nitrate have been stored for six years without any safety measures.

[President Hassan Diab/Lebanon: This is absolutely unacceptable. Responsible ones will pay the price. The warehouse will be thoroughly scrutinized.]

US President Trump has raised the possibility of a terrorist attack that appears to be a terrible attack, but CNN broadcasted a US official saying there was no attack.
