by Paolo Gila 05 August 2020 Another positive session for all markets in Europe, thanks also to the good performance of Wall Street (Dow Jones + 1.2% and Nasdaq + 0.4% at 17.30).
The best was London with a gain of 1.07%, Frankfurt scored 0.47%, Paris gained 0.90% and Milan 0.64%.
Banking, energy and telephone stocks were on display in Piazza Affari. The industrial and technological sectors were contrasted. It should be noted that the yield on our 10-year BTP remained below 1% all day, closing at 0.97%.
Gold has touched a new historical record at 2047 dollars an ounce, equal to about 56 euros per gram. The euro changed to 1.19 against the dollar.
