A group of residents of Galapagar (Madrid) have filed two lawsuits against the second vice president of the Government, Pablo Iglesias, and against the Civil Guard for "coercion and false denunciations" after strolling with Spanish flags and sounding the national anthem in the vicinity of the house of the leader of Podemos.

The platform's spokeswoman, Claudina Gutiérrez, accompanied by several members of the group and the lawyer José Manuel Menéndez, explained that the complaints have been filed after more than twenty people have been punished for walking in the vicinity of the house. the vice president and his partner, the Minister for Equality, Irene Montero.

As Gutiérrez has detailed in an appearance in the countryside next to the house, it is a group of people who, since mid-May, have been walking around the area "to enjoy the countryside and show disagreement with the actions of the Vice President and the Government" .

On their walks, they have received both physical and psychological "coercion and aggression" from the Civil Guard, who first prevented them from screaming and rattling their saucepans in protest, then put up fences, closing the street, and finally forcing everyone who walks around the area with Spanish flags or playing the national anthem on their mobile phones.

Thus, they have decided to file a complaint against churches for abuse of power and "for crimes committed by public officials against individual rights, for coercion and false complaints" and another against the civil guards themselves, since "only by filing a complaint will we know where are the orders " to act against the passers-by, he explained.

Gutiérrez has assured that she herself was pushed by a civil guard and that no member of the group has refused to be identified when the agents have requested it, despite the fact that "more than a protest, it is a walk in which we enjoy the countryside and we show the flag of Spain to show our disagreement with the government's management.
