The press service of UNN stressed that in accordance with the government decree, the university is obliged to admit to participation in a separate competition all applicants who have an agreement on targeted training.

“The university has the right to verify the authenticity of the agreement and its compliance with the government decree. At the same time, universities are not given the right to find out personal information about applicants, which is outside the scope of the documents required for admission, "- quotes the university's commentary RIA Novosti.

The UNN added that the share of applicants within the target quota does not exceed 3% of the total number of budget places.

Earlier, the media wrote that 15 leading Russian universities, including the Lobachevsky State University of Nizhny Novgorod, accept for targeted education the children of officials who allegedly could not enter on a general basis.
