Two women are said to have tried to steal from an 80-year-old man

The police were sent to the Torpa area in central Jönköping after they received an alarm about fraud shortly after 15.00 on Tuesday afternoon.

According to the police, two women stated to an 80-year-old man that they would clean a floor in the house and thus gain access to his home.

One woman is said to have talked to the man while the other roamed around his home. The police patrol, which was alerted to the scene after the incident, has drawn up a report of attempted aggravated theft, they also knocked on doors in the area, but at present no one is suspected of the crime.
