Big fright this Monday for two children on the Thau lagoon near Sète in the Hérault. They went adrift with their inflatable mattresses because of the wind. In difficulty off the beach of Balaruc-les-Bains, they were finally rescued. Swimmers had even launched in pursuit of them in the pond, explains Midi Libre.

A fire boat was able to retrieve them while a swimmer had first managed to reach them and save them when the air mattress overturned in the wind. Everyone comes out safe and sound.
