As established by the investigation, on May 4, 2020, a resident of the Nyurba region published in the Memory Bank a photograph of Adolf Hitler for broadcast on the website Immortal Regiment of Russia.

“The investigator of the Investigative Committee of Russia conducted an interrogation of the suspect, a search at his place of residence, and other investigative and operational measures are being taken to consolidate the evidence obtained,” the message says.

It is noted that during the interrogation, the suspect “admitted the fact of posting the above-mentioned photographs, while he was aware of who the person depicted on it was”.

Earlier it was reported that the UK opened two more criminal cases in connection with the publication of photographs of the Nazis on the website of the movement "Immortal Regiment Online".

Also, cases due to the publication of a photo of Nazis in the "Immortal Regiment" are being investigated in Perm, Samara, Kazan, Ulyanovsk, Volgograd, Tula and other cities.
