The former government spokesperson and ex-candidate for the municipal elections of Paris, Benjamin Griveaux, has been charged by the Prime Minister with a parliamentary mission on young people's nutrition, according to the Official Journal

"Mr. Benjamin Griveaux, deputy, is (...) in charge of a temporary mission having for object the means to ensure to the young people a better food accessible to all", indicates the decree signed by Jean Castex.

This mission must tackle "the issue of equal opportunities, which also goes through the plate", and will concern, among others, children "from working-class or disadvantaged backgrounds," said a parliamentary source.

In June, the former candidate for mayor of Paris, forced to resign after the publication of intimate videos of a sexual nature, had been entrusted with a mission on the French defense industry.

At the end of a "flash mission", the deputies Benjamin Griveaux (LREM) and Jean-Louis Thiériot (LR) estimated, at the end of July in their report, that "a relaunch effort (was) essential to counter ( the) risk "of loss of strategic autonomy which would result from a weakening of the sector.

The two deputies proposed in particular to act on the military order, by accelerating or intensifying the armaments programs provided for by the military programming law (LPM).
