The sisters already run a restaurant together in Nävekvarn harbor, about a hundred meters from the grocery store. When they heard that it was possible to take it over, they became interested.

- We thrive in Nävekvarn and we are entrepreneurs who like to develop companies. We firmly believe in this, says Jonna Brådhe.

A gap of at least three months

The grocery store is the only one in the area and it is an agent for, among other things, Post and Systembolaget. When Coop leaves the store on August 16, however, it will be empty and closed for at least three months. The contract that Coop has does not expire until the last of September.

- We then need to have time to decorate and prepare for our business. So in the meantime, we ask for the residents' patience and support, says Jonna Brådhe.

A small part remains

In the meantime, the restaurant down in the harbor will take over some smaller parts of the service.

- We will work on and we want to open as soon as possible, says Jonna Brådhe.
