In detail, the department announced, providing the option of distance education to all students of private schools in the emirate during the first semester of the next academic year, in response to the preference of many students with continued children staying at home and receiving their lessons remotely, noting that adding the option of distance education Completely along with previously announced options that include 5 models that include full-time, part-time, week-long, day-to-day rotation, or hybrid education, it gives students more flexibility in managing their children's return to school.

The department indicated that the results of the students ’parents’ survey, in which 63% of the total parents of students of private schools in Abu Dhabi participated, and polled about the various aspects related to the reopening of schools at the beginning of the new school year, including the school time model and its duration and means of transportation for students And others, its results showed that 34% of the participants preferred the continuation of the distance education model, considering that this model enables them to manage their time in the best possible way, noting that out of the total participants in the questionnaire, the results showed that 39% of Emiratis preferred to continue the distance education model , Compared to 33% of residents.

It is worth noting that the department had decided to fully implement distance education for students from special cases who need not go to school, and required a medical report to be submitted to allow them to receive their education remotely.
