The tone of the debate about how Swedish corona restrictions affect culture and sports has been raised recently and Amanda Lind has received a lot of criticism, even resignation demands, from other frustrated cultural workers.

"Understand the frustration"

Amanda Lind says that she understands the frustration as today's rules affect both culture and sports in a way that may seem strange.

- For example, there may be 100 people sitting in a restaurant from a distance and a troubadour comes in and suddenly half have to leave. I understand that it is perceived as strange, she says and adds that the government has listened to the criticism and is now reviewing the restrictions.

- Now we are looking at what we can do in the future to provide better conditions for culture and sports.

Will be back "as soon as possible"

Amanda Lind says that she will return with information "as soon as possible" and that she has had a dialogue with actors in culture and sports and listened to their suggestions on how they should be able to conduct their business, despite a prevailing coron pandemic.

- There, they have developed quite comprehensive plans on how to gradually be able to return to more audiences - from personal tickets that can be traced to infection and hygiene and distance requirements when booking tickets, she says.
